Conference Weekend
We are having a great weekend. As one friend put it, it's the rare occasion when you can watch 10 hours of tv and feel good about it. Ana Maria is making an experimental pizza...we are trying to copy Terra Mia. We went to El Gallo Gyro yesterday and had some amazing food...Ryan complained about the chips and horchata (ana maria claims its the real deal...not americanized), but it was a good date. We also played our "connect four" game (sequence) and changed the rules up a bit to make it last longer. Ana Maria cleaned the house and organized everything while Ryan was in the priesthood session. Right now we are in the debate about dance. We don't know what or who with or how long, but we love it so much it's hard to give it up. Ryan has been doing a lot of thinking about his career. To go down the financial planning route or the MBA route....it'll prob just turn into one big run around in circles until he hits a defined path kind of thing. I guess in the end it doesn't really matter. Just have to have a profession that you enjoy, allows you to spend considerable time with your family, and one that can financially support you with all of the basics. As one book says, you can be rich on any income. This was most evident to me when we were out to eat at Chilis. I thought *i just realized I'm no longer in 3rd person, thus revealing its me, Ryan* this girl is so amazing and worth everything to me. I remember looking at her and thinking, it doesn't matter what kind of car is outside or if we have a 2 or three car garage. Life is about the relationships you have.
